Seems like the sort of thing that could happen at MetLife as they try to measure who is "doing" AI.

Imagine if MetLife started using AI to build their own systems. Vendors that have been, shall we say, having "intimate relations" with Metlife for decades (because the cost of switching seemed too high) will get their comeuppance for their poor software, poor support and arrogant attitudes.
I know, most of you believe MetLife is too far gone to be able to do this, and sadly you are right. Still, I'd love to see it happen.

And when the powers that be see this news, they are going to scrutinize AI and cloud use even harder.
I bet cloud is already costing them way more than they anticipated.
@OP All smoke and mirrors, especially in RIS. They want us to "do AI" but are too cheap to give out the licenses. Conflicting messaging amongst the honchos.
