Does anyone know why all of a sudden there is a huge divide between Gainwell and HMS? The messaging at first it was we are one company. These past couple of months it’s been shown we are NOT one and was verbally told to separate from them. You see it in their actions. W are treated like the red headed stepchild! We bring in so much money but we’re treated like we don’t even exist. They never wanted us and that’s okay. Does anyone know if we will be sold soon or the sudden direct change of heart? Is it time to move on?

They lack the comprehension of fault tolerance and high availability. Someone burps or passes gas, you can expect a system to go down.
Expect things to continue to go downhill, as more Indians take over and Americans are pushed out.
It is way past time to move on.
HMS is an Indian call center
In fairness, HMS would not be considered pretty trash, especially before it was acquired by Veritas in 2021. The company chases third party insurance liabilities. Historically, lots of upside in this type of business. HMSY (old stock symbol) was consistently profitable before Veritas grabbed it. Veritas could have done much much worse on an acquisition than HMS. On balance, DXC was worse for Veritas than HMS. They would have been better off buying only HMS and putting the rest of their money in U.S. treasury bonds or the SPY ETF.
HMS leaders promoted in Gainwell are universally terrible.
sounds like layoffs are coming
Ignore the haters. I miss HMS. I personally do not think they will spin it off and sell separately. You are the only thing making them money consistently. I think they keep them separate so there is no perceived conflicts of interest. Both do work for Medicaid but in different capacities. I could be totally wrong too, but those are my thoughts.
Worst acquisition ever. HMS is pretty trash
