Dear Team,
I am writing to share an important update regarding our Global Partner and Retail Enablement (GPRE) organization. We have made the difficult decision to reduce the size of our team. We do not take lightly the impact this has on our valued team members and recognize this is hard news to hear. However, these changes are necessary to support the organization over the long term.
Over the past year, we have actively evolved our operating model to eliminate operational friction and better serve our suppliers. Historically, our supplier enablement, SRM workflows, and core catalog management have been fragmented across multiple organizations. This fragmentation has relied on legacy tools that place an unsustainable operational burden on both our suppliers and our internal processes. By aligning our team structure, these improvements enable us to effectively support our partners with greater efficiency and scale, and require us to operate with a leaner, more consolidated team.
For North America based employees these changes are effective today, June 12, 2026, and impact roles across Cross Journey Operations and Analytics, while impacted EU employees will be entering into the consultation process. All impacted employees will receive an invitation to a meeting within the next 15 minutes to have conversations about next steps. Our immediate priority is to support those who are directly impacted. All teams with changes to their composition will receive further information today.
We appreciate your resilience during this time and we are committed to supporting you through this transition. The Leadership team and I are here to support you with whatever questions you may have.
Please see here for a short FAQ. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to your business leader or the talent team. Thank you for your professionalism and dedication during this transition.
Lots of posts on TeamBlind from Corp workers saying tomorrow is the day for mass layoffs.
They don't have to post anything with WARN until day of, which is what they have done in the past.
@OP they don't have to announce if it's lower numbers it has to be at least 3% of the work force i believe
@b8 can you share the link for teamblind? Didn't see anything there.
Yeah, if this is legit it would be anything but silent. They would not be able to hide it with that many people affected.
@b8 don't think so that's possible at this scale. Without any concrete details again fear mongering I believe
Its posted on TeamBlind that theres a layoff end of June. This is what the post said - Largest layoff in Wayfair history. Downsizing of Boston office, additional onboarding of management in Bangaluru. Tech, Commercial, ops will all be offshored. Only Executive Management and Sr. Leadership will remain in Boston.
