SMM/OOM combos in the smaller and lower mid volume stores will have a new job title come Sunday 🫣😬 called an OSM an actual combo title instead of them just being SMM’s with OOM responsibilities was announced today 😅

At least some of you knew your title was changing. I did not, my store manager was too busy talking on her phone in the office with her friends from other stores. She just handed me a paper and then said oh yeah your title changed, we will talk later to discuss it. We never talked or discussed it. No pay increase either.
A new title but not more pay all the while the CXM has less to do and gets paid almost as much.
@1pq completely agree, this is the first time (and I've had this happen several times now) my role changed giving me additional responsibility with no additional pay. How is it fair? So now the CXM has less while I run around constantly trying to take care of the issues in the store plus jewelry now. Now we'll thought out or fair to us chosen MBAs.
Just to update, this has been confirmed. Our SMM is now an “OSM”. Just a title change, zero changes to their scope.
This was a d-mb move! They should have combined the OOM with MBA, instead of combining the SMM and OOM. Some stores have OOM doing MBA role

Move on already. They lie so much. How hard would it be to increase my pay, I’m not even at the middle point of my pay grade.
This happened at my store. We originally had a MBA, SMM, and OOM position. The MBA left the company. They combined the MBA/OOM position…Now, they took the OOM position away from the MBA and gave it to the SMM. All of this was done without an increase in pay. SMH.
