With all the doubt around the campus I sent my resume for a role. Turns out the role, through an agency, is with my team and the agent sent my resume to my manager. She wants to meet me Monday, can I be fired for looking for other work in this time of uncertainty?

@cj this is a made up story. Recuriter would have revealed company name before forwarding the resume and also definitely would have realized he was an employee at citi before sending

But no, you won't get fired. I'm a manager and my team has always told me when they have applied to something interesting and I've helped them prep for interviews.
