Everyone - and I mean every single person - on my team is job hunting. Not all with the same urgency, but all of them. Leadership doesn't seem to notice or care. I think we'll see a major exodus of talent as soon as the job market improves even slightly. I bet they notice then.

It's sad to see people leaving. I know of many that are actively interviewing elsewhere because they can't stand their boss. People don't leave companies, they leave bad bosses
What's more telling is that those that are leaving haven't been here too long. So they must be joining on a few promises but once they are in, they realise it's all a sh!t show or they realise management is just terrible.
I feel rather jealous of those who are leaving. They're getting to leave on their terms and escape this nut house. We actually have some very capable people in the company who inspire others, but they are not in the positions where they can make any difference. Meanwhile we have a manager who is on the nose with staff, partners and customers.
Unfortunately when the job market isn't hot, almost no companies care at all. Especially not private equity owned companies. Then suddenly when employee retention becomes an issue during a hot job market they suddenly all 'care' so much.
