Thread regarding Fidelity National Information Services Inc. layoffs

I will be quiet quitting for the rest of my time here

Until I find a new job, most of my energy will be spent on that search. FIS doesn't care if you're a hard worker, it'll show you the door either way. So no point in trying. I'll give my minimum and save my energy for my next company, which will hopefully be better in treating its best employees.

Everyone must start quietly quitting.

@db I’m part of the TSYS transfer to FIS. With Global Pay I got a 5% raise every year. FIS was all “you should be so honored to work for us, we’re so competitive and make so much money” and then gave me a 3% raise and does that “total compensation package” sh-t to try to make me feel like I make more because they pay part of my health insurance premiums. I hate it here.

Respect your opinion but I will do my best till last day same way I did in my first day, and so in my next job (doing my best does not mean doing extra hours though).

We should ALL be, “quiet quitting”!

In this atmosphere, there is no incentive, literally, to produce the best work. What would that be? There are no promotions, no bonuses and the frightening propect of being laid off at any moment.

@ca speaks volumes in what way? If the gender of the speaker is unknown, then he/she is perfectly appropriate. The face that you don't think so speaks volumes about you.

@c2 the fact you felt he/she was warranted speaks volumes

@bp I’m not hiring anyone that can’t spell role properly.

Good luck with your search for a roll, hope you’re not too hungry.

@OP I am also quietly quitting, and putting most of my effort into finding a new job.
If a company is stupid enough to have rolling layoffs each quarter without any true communication, what should they expect. I can only assume about the future of my roll, and in my opinion, it is not looking good. I am looking out for myself now and not FIS. They can look out for their bottom line, and I will look out for mine.

If the job doesn't pay a bonus for best work, why would you do your best work?

I'm going to get a new job and try to work both for as long as I can.

So, in other words, you will continue to do your "job" as normal, yeah that's smart.
