More folks got tagged this week, not naming teams as the one that I am on is dwindling fast and furiously. Don't want to risk exposing who I am, but a few were over 50 for sure. Our team has been hit now 5 quarters in a row. From what I know, no US back-fills happening, only off-shore. Also heard that there was a hiring freeze going on, more than tightly controlled than usual. So only silver bullet Cisco reps are making inroads while all other teams are shut out unless you are a forklift driver in need of a job, LOL. What happened to automated fulfillment centers? I know, lets send the execs out to manually count inventory! Like that's never happened around here.

@34x Because it is happening, for realz. They made me sign and acknowledge that:

I was over 40 years old

Backfilled with someone 20 years younger a less than 1/2 the experience and less than 1/2 the pay (verified & confirmed, thanks Finance peeps!). Even some suppliers were left shaking their head at the whole ordeal and wondering WTF is going on with this company. It took 3-4 people to replace me. And they still don't know what they F*&$ they are doing.

I can cite more than 20 others easily that had the exact same thing happen to them. Pull your head out of the sand and look around.

Did your leader just disappear? Ghosted in MTC? Now you know why. It has nothing to do with performance but budget, politics and backstabbing. I am now at a competitor where life is actually very good and the culture is real, no BS and kicking-A$$ and taking business from Insight DAILY. So much for all the strategy shifts. Market share sure has dropped.

I was not alone, this has happened to quite a few people that were pushed out to make budget room. You get what you pay for that is for sure. Team is now floundering, no real experienced leadership, mentorship or emotional support.

Hey Jen, while you are trolling on here, why are you still there? Don't you have endless time to stalk terminated employees on LinkedIn? A little bit jealous maybe?

@2n6 Another post mentioning “ageism”…seems to be a recurring theme across news numerous comments made. Why?

@2v4 now that's some funny sh-t. No layoffs ever. It's like a never ending cycle of layoffs around here. When they are not doing waves of it, folks just randomly disappear. It's like Twilight Zone crazy sh-t around this place.

@1sy Client Operations as well has been hit once again. More off-shoring being done. HR, Finance and Services also have pressure to off shore at an accelerated pace to keep the earnings chasm gap salvageable so that the execs can get a bonus. Meanwhile in reality, things are looking grim without a new new new strategy from our new fearless leader. Amazing that it has been well over 90 days since onboarding and no new tectonic shifts have emerged except hiring more Cisco sales reps. Waiting for the shuffle on the deck of the Titanic in Sales Leadership. Seems that the IBM whatsupwatson invasion in Marketing has slowed down to a crawl with budget belts tightening and new branding efforts have really yielded nothing. I mean nothing. Transformation efforts, late and overbudget like always since the IT team really su-ks.

If you are curious to see if your role is on the chopping block, just head over to the Insight job site and see if your job is on the hire list offshore, because they want hire and on-board your replacement for you and make you transfer your knowledge before they cut you to an off-shore role and will hold you hostage until you agree to train your replacement before being let go, and make you sign a non-compete, gag-order, etc. Not BS but the truth, just go ask all those IT folks and Client Services folks that got chopped up into bits. Lots of IT, data and back-office jobs listed in India and the Philippines. Growth is not happening, but cost cutting sure is so someone gets to hit their target on the stock price movement and you will be the victim (casualty) to enable that.

Hahahaha, you must be joking! No never any layoffs here, we are kicking a-s all over the place, right all over. I mean we need to hire something like 10,000 new reps because demand is somehow outpacing our overworked resources, like to the Max! I mean, really, we have no one, literally zero teamteammates sitting on the bench trying to get certified in anything AI related. So, no, never happens around here. 5000% utilization on my super AI team. Like where you been man? For the past four years we have blown the doors off quota day in and day out, Joyce must of retired because it has been so so so amazing! And well, the other guy left cause we just filled up his coffers with cash cash cash and more cash. So much cash that he could retire or take Joyce's job, but the stress and all the bonuses that go along with just nailing it every quarter after quarter and year over year and years, you know its just too much excitement for one person! They will write amazing Forbes articles about how amazing this place is and how everything we touch just turns to gold or oil man! Ask Rob our fearless CDO, he's just amazing! Like Amazon amazing, such a technologist, just like all the all-stars on his team. I hear he codes in his sleep and also day trades while walking around backwards. Amazing! The stock hit like $20,000 for an all time high! We hire the best and most amazing interns on the planet, people are lining up in 1000 degree heat here in Chandler to just get into the building to get a glimpse of this amazing place. Now we have a new guy and he's even more more amazing, like so amazing, that he does not have to even speak and we all know that it's nothing but amazingness that he's thinking, all that cash cash cash he gets and well, we don't get any. But, that's OK, cause this place is just so utterly amazing, that I just can't get enough of it. I asked my boss if it is OK if I just crash here in my cube (go ahead, check my IP address) so that I can just be here, like always. Maybe get a glimpse of Jack in the cafeteria or maybe some of the other cool execs, cause they are so really gifted and bright, I feel as just being around them makes me even smarter and cooler. I hope that I can get to meet any of them one day, as you know they have been so busy working on our next moonshot, like to the moon, really. I heard that Elon was coming in next week cause we wants to get some of that amaze-sauce these folks have been sniffing and hopes that some of their brilliance rubs off on him. Maybe he can get a bear hug from Jack or a nuggie. So, back to your point, nothing but high growth potential here.

The week of the 26th will be the next round of blood letting with leaches in full form. How to keep your cushy job while underperforming? Whack some TEAM TEAM TEAM TEAMMATES so that you are not pegged on the chopping block. Say "YES" to moving the jobs over to India, Hungary, Philippines or eliminate the role entirely and come up with a "new new" title to avoid ageism while replacing the same job for a person for half the age, half the cost with zero experience.. Don't forget to sign the gag order on the way out. You will help make some room for an Accenture has-been or Cisco-wash-ups (LR-MANIA). Better yet, try and get your title changed to CTO of nothing, no experience or technical skills required. <--- REALLY! Or better yet, says that you are building an Agentic-Datalake-Snake-Fake thing-a-ma-jig that you can't really cite the value or impact of, but hey, it sounds really really cool (like cool cool) and you will get a lot a LOT of thumbs up on social networking. Did I mention that it's cool? Like super wicked cool. Even better, tell the world how awesome you are everywhere, like I was a wash up on the CRN Channel has-been-anyone-list-can-apply for, especially if you have nothing else to show for yourself. Even better, just pay Gartner a lot of money to appear on a magic quadrant of something-nothing list. And put that out there, like everywhere!

They capped my damn comp quota payout even though I crushed it AGAIN!

Insight Global is increasing head count by 1,700 employees while we here are cutting all over the place. Surely does state the state of the game out there. Presidio and Slalom are hiring as well, a lot more than we are firing. Where does this proven leadership that Jack-Attack lauds himself come from? Well he was on the bench for almost a year. He was pushed out of Accenture. Joyce did no one here any favors except for a few minions she brought in, one bailed quickly and the others have been sacked except for one. Only one CAP clown left, and he claims to of personally done magic for McDonalds, except CAP didn't deliver the goods there. For all the real digital transformation work it was actually Publicis Sapient that did all the heavy lifting.

@1cv some UK sales reps let go last week as well as some Canadians, seems that the trend is picking up with more to come before the end of the month. So much for crushing it.

@1cv not just sales but services as well... seems that the chopping just keeps on happening, endless, guaranteed to get whacked. Top heavy and too many bodies that need to get off the bench, well, that's not happening. So, what's the result, cut and cut some more. Seems that those acquisitions have left the company in a place that was predictable (wait, where's my AI agentic bot trying to make something out of nothing?). Where's that linear regression model to predict the stuffing of the stock price so that someone get's 10mil? Wait I have a proven vision of what I don't know, but it entails whacking folks that I don't give a damn about as long as it hooks me up with some serious AC to beat the heat along with those GLP-1 treats.

Right before the end of the month, that's the pattern, right before earnings with the impact padded with write offs in labor reduction into the next qtr.
