Last I saw, the pay range for senior BECs was something ridiculous like $78k to $130k. How much does the average senior BEC (or even lead BEC) actually make?

@dt That’s a bonkers take lol. The person pointing out a troll is not the issue. You really gotta get back on your psych meds.
@ds all ranges are like that. They generally try to bring you in at 10% less than midpoint but if coming from outside the company you will get slightly more. Once you hit midpoint you often won’t get a raise. It’s d-mb but it’s how Wells does it.
@ad You're the same crank who posts about the crank non stop here and on many other topics
SLBEC currently at 159k base, bonus has been disappointing
the real answer to OP's question: it depends.
It depends on geography. it depends on what function you're actually doing as a BEC. It depends on what you were being paid before in your prior job (if you were internal).
@b4 If you had pattern recognition maybe you'd be smart enough to be one of these BEC's you're so jealous of
Increase is for new hires. There are BECs who are making 170s and 200s. BEC titles are going out.
As a Sr BEC, I make about $96k before bonus. The role is a wide net. To other commenters, yes some schedule meetings all day. I, on the other hand, wish there were fewer meetings on my calendar so I could do the meat of my job more efficiently (designing and delivering training content).
I have no idea what BEC's do other than schedule meetings with people that actually know what's going on.
WF needs to stop paying poverty wages like this.
Doesn't really matter what it pays, other than CSRs (won't last much longer) BECs and similar job titles are among the most downsized in the company. They don't really do anything useful that AI, contractors, or I&P can't do. Probably has about as much future at WF as mailroom jobs.
@aa It's because OP is a crank who is obsessed with these BEC's. He posts this all the time.
Why is that ridiculous?
Leads start around $95k, but I've also seen new reqs at $119k. So maybe it increased?
Senior Leads used to start at around $121k, but not sure if they also got an increase.
