@h6 I heard more or less the same thing but with the goal of being right sized by Q3 2027
Word on the street is 10% less now, so approx 120k. Going to be another 10% cut in Sept and again in Jan, so end result will be about 97k by Jan 27. Then some more cuts to get down to under 80k which is the target. Let us all hope that Stank gets cut before then.

AT&T had 133K employees at the end of 2025. It has to be closer to 120K employees after the last June/July layoffs.
The headcount today, will not be the same tomorrow. Actually, not the same as when I started this reply...

So at 133000 this means another 53K-63K jobs are to cut in order for T to be right-sized per Staneky' master plan to profitability and continued dividend payout strategy
