It's amazing how quickly things can change. I used to genuinely love my job. I was excited to do it, and I felt good about what I was doing. Now I spend most of my time thinking about how to get out. I just want a way out.

@1bc Totally agree. I’m not sure why management is dragging their feet on giving us our severance package when it’s obvious they don’t need us anymore. They’re holding onto us with a leash — presumably waiting for us to quit voluntarily so they won’t have to pay severance. I, for one, am already being treated like my role has been discontinued, yet they still won’t provide an official termination date.
This is a company that tells everyone their greatest asset is their PEOPLE.
While at the same time they threat their people like 💩.
If we can live with that. Then we are all working in the right company.
I am just waiting for my package so I can move on.

Very true, Imperial used to be a great place to work. No longer. The downward shift was slow at first, but became increasingly rapid. It's gotten to the point now where QP is like a depressing graveyard.
On a positive note, it's great to see so many former IOL folks doing amazing things outside of the company. Definitely a risk to leave and sometimes a lateral move at first, but so many former IOL folks are doing amazing things elsewhere. There's life after Imperial and in a lot of ways it can be better.
