Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

3 weeks from today

Well since they changed the timeframe of the VSP acceptance process from the 15th to the 27th, what are people actual thoughts on the extended window now. Does it mean more people than expected accepted the VSP or not enough and they want to see what needs to be done in the "resturcturing" faze of the layoffs in August. Also I want to know to anyone who accepted the VSP if things for you on a daily basis going fwd with your team is or has changed before the 27th. I know a higher level of person will be conducting the approval process, but since the VSP list is done does any of this info will trickle down to your managers ...sups...ect. I just hope people dont start getting treated diff since they are accetoing the VSP. please share if anything diff is happening for you since the deadline has passed.. TY

@OP layoffs are starting in 3 weeks per team meeting today announced by VP quality. Does not matter the number of VSP. It’s a-s over ti-s fu--ing crazy. Run.

Just focus on your new job search.
Focus on an escape plan.
Get out ASAP, for your future and peace of mind.

At this point, they've lost the plot, and anyone who's serious about continuing their employment at all, should shift their mindset to it being somewhere new at a totally different company!

Myself and another coworker have been completely removed from a team and told we will get new “reassignments as they become available”. I put in for the VSP and wonder if I’m not already being targeted and they know I’m going to be one of the ones let go so they aren’t reassigning me.

@a4 yep unfortunately I am one of those employees that is being micromanaged. COMPLETE BS you ask me! Idc though, if approved I am taking the money and running. Will never look back at this nightmare call center again!

Leaders will only know if someone applied IF the Associate tells them OR the Associate is approved. HR is supposed to notify the Leaders, but no date has been given. If an Associate is on a PIP, they were not given a VSP letter. Rumor is those staff members will automatically be put on the involuntary RIF list.

@OP call VSP and ask but the approval date is supposedly 15th 'through' 27th. Not necessarily the 27th only. And yes, retaliation being treated differently, micromanaging is a cost for some who applied.
