Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

VOE

I’ve probably done at least 10 VOE’s and they always said it was anonymous and I truly believe it is because the last five I have absolutely trashed management with the lowest possible score 🤣🤣🤣. And I’ve asked to be laid off for the last three years and I’m still here doing one hour of work every day. Anyone else think this place is completely clueless?

@sy

They know which SOEIDs didn't submit the VOE. But supposedly, the responses are collected in aggregate as a group for each team/department by a 3rd party vendor, Not Citi, so that the results can be analyzed independently by the 3rd party vendor.

If you read the VOE email it will state the name of the 3rd party vendor.

Also, if a manager has fewer than 6 direct reports, that manager will Not receive group/team results because it's easy to determine who said what, or who graded/scored which questions low or high.

@rd

If you previously complained about or made suggestions, recommendations about topic ABC, topic XYZ, the cafeteria food, whatever and then used the same phraseology on the VOE, your managers can connect the dots and determine or at least have suspicions about who wrote what on the VOE.

Lesson and Advice: doNOT use the same sentencing, phraseology or verbiage on the VOE. Change your usual diction and locution. Pretend you're someone else speaking or writing on the VOE.

I remember a time the system kept reminding me I had not send my VOeE. That is how I k ew it was not anonymous.

It’s difficult to believe the process is truly anonymous. I personally experienced retaliation from a Director & Senior Vice President after providing feedback, so I don’t feel comfortable sharing candid input unless anonymity can be genuinely guaranteed.

Lay off hard working citizens. Hire in offshore. Hire more offshore and onsite contractors. Fire more Citizens and repeat.

@d2

If you noticed prior years' VOE's were released first week of September, always.

Very suspicious Sh!tibank released it 2 months early, now in July.

Latest survey was spot on, as if they were reading thelayoff.com website to write the questions. I lied on everything, random 1-2-4-3-5-3-2- on whatever.

Quit? Why? They might be one of the ICs at SVP+ level - who would give up that income?

@OP - Penny wise, pound foolish. At this rate you are more likely to get put on a PIP then get laid off. Just quit or stfu.

@OP I assume you’re the same person on here always yapping about wanting to be laid off and not doing any work. You need to get it together and just quit. You’re choosing to be so miserable it’s really weird. Move on dude
