Thread regarding US Foods layoffs

While the Fat Cats are away, the Fat Cats will play

My Manager told me last night that he had heard from the head of security that some weeks ago all our executives had a lavish meeting in Paris, France. My manager said that he was told that they all had very expensive private area dinners and other expensive perks and activities. My manager listened with a smile but he was pi---d because he has had to submit a lesser budget last year than he wanted and had team investment restrictions only to see the execs galavant to expensive places. He is pi---d because they could gone to customer restaurants here is the U.S.A. and supported our customers who invest in us. We don't have customers in Paris so what were they thinking? When my manager inquired about why they chose Paris, the head told him that he heard they did Barcelona in Spain last year. The good thing is that the head didn't go and sent someone in his place while he kicked back with a bottle of bourbon at home. You have to wonder if he chose to stay as a silent protest.

Sh-t! Are you fu--ing serious? How often have they been doing this sh-t? I wouldn't have pi---d on the cournal if he was on fire before but his big fu--ing mouth worked in our favor this time. I still don't like or trust his a-s. I guess y'all that thought papa smurf would handle him and do the right thing can su-k my di-k. They had a chance to do the right thing and these a--holes rather let this fu---r keep fu--ing up. Y'all should have known. But y'all, the cournal did help us this time.

That entire group is a chatty group. I knew about this one from one of his henchmen that also leaked it cuz he is close to the executive group.

I am with you all. It's good to have a group of talkers there so we know how they are fu--ing us.

Thank you to Kernel Sanders and his chicken coup.

Curnal told an HR friend of mine /that will go un-named/ that much expensive wine was consumed while they were there. Wasn't that a company meeting? And that a some of them took expensive wine bottles and "macaroon cookies" home. Were those purchased on our dollar? Will the expense team flag that if it's true? And was there swag handed out?

Fu-k this. I have been trying to conserve cost to help US Foods and this is what our hypocrite leaders do? Time to tell my customers. This is unforgivable.

Thanks Sanders!

@12c He hasn't changed. His mouth is always running. How we react to it is what matters.

@t4 Well the kernel is finally good at something. His love of spreading gossip helped us find out this time so let's give him credit for finally doing something right in expressing his disappointment with other leaders? My VP and me talked this morning and he had heard the same thing and knew who started it and he was ticked off about it too. Let's hope he spoke to the media about it like he did at his old police job.

@t4 This is the same group of jackasses that kept the marketing CMO, known more to us as the clown marketing officer. They hired a crooked cop that has our associates not calling in crimes and the associates using the 2nd amendment as their security, and hiring unqualified family to work here and cheating to do it. Their biggest sin of hiring this so called cornal is the worst but this one is up their in my book. The hypocrassy of cutting y'alls travel and then splurging is a fu--ing hard blow to all of us and it will change how I work. No more long hours and extra effort for people that showed me they don't give a fu-k about us.

@t0 Wait y'all. Isn't there a restriction on business travel. I can't even go visit customers to aid in my retention and organic growth goals because of these restrictions that they went out and abused. What kind of leadership is that? We get that they have to meet but true leaders would have done it here and kept it modest for the sake of US Foods. This is a slap in the face to everyone and a clear indication that our executives are clearly out of touch. I mean what the Fu-k!! And they did all this while we had travel restrictions? i will be doing some thinking tomorrow about my future here. I am a top sales maker every year but I need to consider if the right road is here for them and i. Leaving together is very easy and they had agreed to go with me to Sysco before but I chose loyalty and stayed. I won't make that mistake twice. I need to calm down and think and have some conversations with my customers, also known as my long time friends.

This is bullsh-t. I guess some people may have some free steaks this week that we can cook up at home. Security at this company is sh-t so it will be easy. We deserve an executive dinner for us and our families. But we need to ask for much more on the union increases and talk to our customers during our routes this week. Their sh-t forces us to take matters into our own hands. Spread the word to all drivers to talk to our customers. They feed us. They joke with us. They respect us. When is the last time our executives gave a fu-k? They were out there wasting the fruit of our work on expensive things? Why couldn't they just have met at here? This really hurts.

Fu-k! They just don't get it. This really pi---s me the fu-k off. I am floating my resume tonight. This is just bullsh-t and I cannot work for such sc-m. I never thought I would say this but thank you coronal for letting us know. This time your big a-s mouth was a good thing.

Sadly, it is true. We help the events folks with this annually. Last year was not Barcelona but was Madrid. You had the right country but wrong city. That is all I can say.

That is some sh-t. Our customers monitor this website and one called me and asked if this was true. I am hoping this is wrong because I can't sale and keep customers with these types of poor decisions. Get it together executives!
