I wonder if the VSP will be offered again if they don't get the number that they were wanting. I was back & forth, but decided not to take it. Now I'm wondering if I should have.

@OP sounds like they got too many now. Tooth for those including me that did not accept although I feel it’s wrong to keep moving the dates for those to change their minds yet we can’t accept. That’s stupid and I feel illegal somehow
@bm di you think they will go ahead and let most VSP ppl go?
@a8 to me it was not enough money to be voluntary unemployed and I’ve been laid off 3 times before. The wording of the disclosure was too vague and centene is too wishy washy. I loved my job at first. This is a tough pill to swallow.
They are approving all that applied. If I were you...I would have taken it. Medicare is about to HURT BAD!! Centene being Medicaid means big layoffs more than likely.
The job market is really tough right now. You may not have found a new job before your severance money and or unemployment runs out. Plus I think this is the future, constant layoffs and restructuring, especially with the advancement of AI. If work load does increase, do what you can and try not to stress. I know that is easier said then done. This is what I keep telling myself.
Will there be layoffs in August or was that canceled with the outcome of VSP.
At other companies that offer multiple VSPs, each VSP is worse than the previous one
Most likely not. Heard from leadership that a large amount of ppl applied, and that is why they extended the date to reconsider declining vsp. What will follow though is ppl staying will have a double workload and some will get laid off
I have regret not taking it too. I’ve never seen them offer it before so I think we’re probably sc--wed.
I also have second thoughts. But doubt they will offer this again.
As long as I've been here (20+ years) I've never seen a VSP offering. IMO this is a one time thing.
I have no insight, but I highly doubt it.
They think they will just proceed with the layoffs once VSP has been concluded.
