Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Is SCORE working in any country?

In the US, we cannot see where we stand on SCORE so we have no idea how we are progressing towards our quota. We cannot see all of our backlog. Is this the same globally?

@kd because there likely is no dev/test environment at all. They are called prod now

@kd

What is silly is, they want you to make sure you are all up to date on things that need to be done. No exceptions. When asked about Score, it's all laughs and jokes. Zero timelines on when it will be fixed.

@k6

I don't get it either.

What about running something in Test/Dev first to make sure it all works. But, we have no idea on the plan so who knows.

I totally get that getting new systems up to speed will take time and there will always be issues.

But I am at a complete loss to understand why they haven't kept the old systems running as a backup and also to be able to cross check that they get to the same results in both systems. Actually finding the issues would be so much easier if they did so.

At this stage I am actually pretty sure that this was made on purpose so people can't report bugs as they have no proof that the data we currently get is plain wrong.

Dell has to be the d-mbest, worst managed company on the planet.

ODW has been nothing but a train wreck since inception. JC is responsible for this mess.

Yes, this happened because of the ODW. Every day it becomes clearer that this system was far from ready, and it was forced to production only because JC's big check probably depends on it.

I heard managers were getting it back this week, after previously getting it and it was grossly inacurate.

No feedback whatsoever about what is happening. ZERO.

ODW. New set up can't process it and not looking like being possible any time soon. That implementation is creaking and not even fully live yet. Biggest scam of all time is that.

Someone should be publicly shamed and sacked for this incompetence. How this is acceptable to anyone is beyond me…

My manager had visibility several weeks ago but then the person stated that it is now inaccurate.

If you think about it, leadership may push people around but the company cannot even give an accurate reading on compensation. They can't get the simplest of task to work and want people to continue like it's a minor glitch.

Manager has visibility but it's inaccurate. It makes you wonder if people are being paid correctly.

It’s the biggest fraud a publicly traded company could pull off.
