So many directors, snr directors, and VPs that are overpaid and unneeded. Get rid of or reduce pay of half of them and the company will perform just the same.

More corporate smokescreen to justify cutting back on raises and bonuses as well as lay off more people in order to save money. This is "you asked for this" 2.0 where employee hostile decisions will be committed by leadership with a clear conscience. The strategy for recovery is pretty clear now...Nike grew way too large under the false pretense that forever growth was inevitable and now the play is to shrink the headcount and overhead to be a smaller company that fits economic and market reality.

And, of course, that means a high-reward culture as well, right?
That would require a meritocracy. One that recognizes individual potential. Can’t have that happening here. No, sir.
