I've seen people starting to relax because they think the layoffs are winding down. That's a mistake. If you look at what's actually happening, it's pretty clear that we're not done yet. Anyone who thinks we're close to the end is going to be very surprised.

@mm This is the correct take. Ain't nothin'stopping you from fishing for another job while waiting for whatever the he-l is going to happen to you at OT.
Why are you waiting around for them to let you go? It’s not worth your while! Put yourself out there and run from that place like it’s on fire!
@OP, isn't it a given. It's never over at Opentext. I have not seen any relaxed person except the ones leaving.
It's always bad decisions, followed by layoffs. No certainty unless its regarding layoff. You cannot run any business without certainty.
@k8 I mean clearly we’re not doing a good job of selling off cr-ppy products even at a fire sale price!
OT will go from 20k to maybe 8 to 10k when they are done. MF was the worse investment ,now selling off all of its assets that are not core. OT isn't a Cyber company so why keep any of it? Legacy MF junk we were trying to sell!
What the point of not "relaxing"? It's going to happen or it won't. It's going to happen to you or it won't. Lots of them have nothing to do with merit so there's literally nothing you can do to save yourself or whatever you think can happen if you "relax."

@OP so this round of July layoffs is not over yet? Or did not mean there are more to come in the following months. That everyone knows that layoffs are never done in OT. Every 2 or 3 months there is a round.
