Real estate ad shows the BD site in San Antonio is available. I know they had cut staff before, but did they shut the location?

Some of us have been here for a decade now and it’s a sad end for a location that used to have so much pride. When we started, this office was sold to us as the "Center of Excellence", the future 24/7 heartbeat of MMS support where we were told we were building something great.
The reality? We spent our tenure training and supporting our replacements overseas. Despite the late nights, short breaks and the "we are family" rhetoric from management, the moment the transition was complete, the support evaporated. In this day and age, it’s painfully obvious that loyalty is a one-way street. The company got what they needed (a smooth handover), and we got a pat on the back and a pink slip.
If you are walking into this org today, don't buy the hype. The "Excellence" left the building a long time ago.
I've been hearing this rumor too, but I don't know if it's true. Folks are saying they're gonna rebadge just about everybody by the end of the year and then shut the site down. Anybody know if there's any truth to it? Should I start looking for another job? Has anyone heard anything solid?
i heard it’s being replaced with Costa Rica
I knew they rebadged a bunch of people several years ago so a lot of people left, but I thought there were still several teams there. What teams are still there or did they get rid of them?
I used to work at this BD site before I got "rebadged" over to Genpact. Not long after that, they let a bunch of us go when Genpact decided to move the jobs somewhere else. Even back then, the place was already a ghost town. I haven't been around lately, so I can't say what it's like now, but judging by how few people were left, the real estate sign out front, and what it must cost just to keep that place running, I'd be surprised if it stays open much longer. Just my two cents.
BD also sold a lot of headquarters land in Franklin Lakes. Tom has a new job - on Zillow.
That was the plan. Sh-t it down and send work to cheaper labor in Poland, Kuala Lumpur, etc
