@h9 There is nothing like being denigrated by an illiterate fool who cannot even put a coherent sentence together.
@dk Doctors as well. Women make up the majority of U.S. medical students. In the 2024-25 academic year, women accounted for 54.9% of total medical school enrollment and 55.1% of all new matriculants.Women have comprised the majority of both first-year medical students since 2017 and total enrolled medical students since 2019. This entire thread is ludicrous.
@gs gosh, I guess I haven’t been there for 20+ years then. thanks for setting me straight!
@h9 what job postings are you looking at? My clinical position requires years of experience. Though not required I do have a bachelor’s degree as well.
No Conspiracy - Just stating the facts. Debate on the facts and impact.
Men aren't hired at Centene, plain and simple.
@e7 I’m sure your trans coworkers would find this hilarious. go peddle your bigotry elsewhere.
How come the stated percentage ratio between only two of the genders?! Isn’t there supposed to be like 7 or 8 genders?
I’m kidding! I also believe in only two genders; just truing to fan the flames a bit.
@bj I seriously can’t stop laughing at this.
well let's use a little logic!! When you are in a hospital - the nurses, aids and nurses assistance are normally what??? FEMALE!
So then let's take that and look at colleges - most of the people that register for these degrees and certifications are what???? FEMALE!!
That said when hiring CM's the majority of the applicants are what????? FEMALE!!
So it is NOT discrimination it is the reality - more females study health care/ nursing than men. It's a numbers game.... it is like that at every hospital and health plan across the country.
Life on the plantation.

@a1 great, so report it and see what happens.
I’m literally a pink collar worker. Consider manufacturing, tough guy.
It’s closer to 60/40% but it’s an industry percentage compared to Centene alone. Health insurance, and broader insurance in general, primarily employs women.
Don't y'all just hate whiney incels living in their parent's basement.
there are more women than men, but it is not 84%. plenty of men are in senior and upper leadership.
get your qualifications up and shut up.
Maybe in some area definitely not in parts of tech. Often there is only a few women on a call out of 20/30 people.
@OP you again? I hope this thread, like your last one on the subject, gets deleted. It’s the industry, bro, not a conspiracy.
Op, you are correct, this was publicly bragged about in Sarah London articles a couple years ago.
This is discrimination on its face and grounds for reporting and lawsuit.
