@jc almost everyone in Corp it applied for both spins. It got so bad that Sheila had to announce that they weren’t allowing people to apply to the aero spin, they got picked. Next breath, she said to control you it destiny. Honeywell Corp IT has always been a sweatshop to learn, hone skills, then leave.

Truth is it is extremely unlikely she was fired because of the technical disaster that Shiela created. There is more to this story. People get put on pips for failed projects. People get walked out for juicier things. Who else decided to pursue other opportunities ?

Honeywell hasn’t had good IT since before we had data centers. Circa 2000.
Today IT can’t even comprehend a machine that isn’t a server running in the data centers. Every process and form they create is geared that way.

This is on the heels of a different Aero IT VP getting walked out (rhymes with mellow) as well as one of her senior directors. Three people being walked out the door smells like an investigation of some sort. The Aero IT leadership that was in charge of the domain migration fiasco still seems to be in place.

If OP were actually in Aero and saw the utter clusterfu-k the spin was from an IT perspective they wouldn't need to know why she was fired.

I'm actually slightly heartened to see some accountability here. This is a firing that was fairly earned.

Krista was CIO for Aero, BTW.
