I heard that this time around the direct managers had an input on who leaves and who stays. Does anyone know if this is true? My understanding was that the execs are the ones who make those decisions. Does anyone know the criteria?

I feel like this round was more logistical vs performance related. Stores that were in the top 200 were cut but they were more remote locations. So consolidated areas. And reading it sounds like the whole north east got cut, New England area. Stores that are closer to larger markets stayed even if they were low performing.
@a3 what team is digital experience team? VP/AVP name?
@a6 what percentage? Can you please elaborate?
Take a look at those who have recently rotated roles. There you will find your answer.
Cuts and stores transitions in retail came from VP and above. Sr. Directors and below just had to wait to find out.
They shuffled managers around a few stores near me on July 1st. Then closed one of the stores. That was NOT by accident
Do you mean Gemini decided?
Manager gave the input on who to take out after the percentage was given by senior director.
Mine had no clue I was let go.
I believe Sr. Directors provide the chop list.
@a1 The criteria seemed to be how much boot-licking you could do.
The worst teams under Digital Experience survived completely intact. It’s a complete mystery to everyone.
Zero integrity of the executive who retained these employees.
This time around? Always..
Based on the awesome people that were let go and the dipsh-ts that remain on some teams I’m gonna say no lol
