@d9 DEI. Cisco is openly stated on several occasions that they plan to be a fully integrated DEI company by the year 2030.
@OP the layoffs will never stop. The cycles are endless. Eventually, almost everyone’s number will get called.

In some countries in EMEA we still haven't been notified, so... No, they are not done yet with the first half of the layoff that was announced in May, and we know (because they announced it in May) that they will execute the remainder in August; so lucky us in some of those countries might not know if we're safe until December or so, when we will be ready for yet another layoff.
Its just business as usual.
@OP approx 75% of those affected were realigned into strategic roles within the company, so the impact was minimal. Thank you for your concern.
@bn why would there be more significant layoffs when just last quarter there was a 5% reduction? does Cisco have a shadow workforce where ELT doesnt know head count until end of each quarter?
