When's the next round coming?

At this point it feels less like "if" and more like "when." Between the CEO changes, the exec departures, and the pattern we've seen every couple months this year, another round seems inevitable. Anyone hearing anything about timing? Curious if people think it's weeks away or if we get a quiet quarter first.


Why do raises and reviews take so long to show up?

It's the middle of July, shouldn't they be showing by now? And yes I know that CVS is notoriously slow at this kind of stuff, but still to not even have your manager say anything to you yet? What gives? The one time that DL's need to pressure managers to get this done is the one time DL is silent.


Future layoff schedule

WF will replace it's biweekly pay schedule with a semi-monthly one starting January 2027. How will this affect the layoff calendar? The current predictable "Tuesday after the payday" would become harder to track given the irregular nature of the new schedule; i.e., the payday can fall on any day of the work week. Perhaps the layoffs will also occur on a semi-monthly basis, like around certain dates of each month?


First Brands Postpones Ohio Job Cuts

First Brands Group LLC delayed job cuts at its Cleveland corporate office. Sixty-seven corporate employees will stay until May 31. Three hundred forty-five Tiffin facility employees also face delayed job cuts. The automotive parts company is in Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The company is negotiating to sell parts of its U.S. business.
