With the staggering dates, will there be involuntary layoffs mid August? If so, these employees would have been identified for the restructuring. Is there an explanation anywhere of why those that didn’t opt for VSP haven’t been notified and will their dates be extended until possibly Nov 2027?

Is it possible this will spill over into Tuesday?

So let me get this straight. According to the VSP FAQ - Following the VSP, we do expect that we will need to make further restructuring decisions, and expect to notify anyone whose role is impacted by mid-August. NOW the ones who want to go have to wait it out till next year, but the ones who didn’t take or were not eligible for VSP could be let go? Please please make this make sense? How? And why?

Does anyone have any knowledge of when the involuntary separation program will begin? Anyone here in the know ?

People leader just got an e-mail saying notifications will come out in waves throughout the day

Will we get the email from VSP in our personal or company email address? I keep checking back and forth. They said we will be notified on or around 7/27 so I am hoping to get something today. Tired of these waiting games.

Layoffs confirmed at the support office today, on the owned brand teams, over 10 individuals. Managers were not notified, employees got meetings on their calendars the night before. Terminated effective immediately... Any other teams affected?

Well the news is out…. Over 250 stores, directors, sr directors…all because someone “accidentally” sent the email out today instead of tomorrow

This is psychological warfare extending the date two weeks. If anyone gets emails and could tell us the role you’re in and if you get approved, that would be helpful. This is beyond fu---d up. That place is fu--ing garbage.

Anyone willing to share what area they are in (keeping in mind this is all anonymous)? Clearly, not all of us are receiving information at the same time. I wonder why they're staggering the information that's going out to people who applied.

Are all the stores getting divested or are there stores that will just simply be closed? Have all the stores in East Region been notified?

I can't believe anyone is falling for the "I got notified today!!" bullsh-t. You literally saw a massive layoff in November.

Just a refresher - 15 minute meeting scheduled the morning of by your leader, over around 11, all hands for the survivors. No meeting invite goes out for the all hands, you just get a ping with the link (or at least that's how it went in my department).

Anyone who says they know they're getting laid off as early as today is a liar and nobody with any actual knowledge is going to post it here. You will know Thursday. Period.

Impacted Band 5 leaders were notified today. Anyone heard any particular department being hit?

How does being on leave impact notification if you are RIFed? Do they wait until you get back to inform you? Does the clock start while during leave or after you return to work?

This question is specifically in regards to maternity leave, so I have a firm return to work date.

The people that sit behind me were told to be prepared for an October notification. The impacted headcount would mirror the June surplus. No way to verify the accuracy of this report. My manager said she hasn't heard any speculation coming down. Anyone heard anything specific?

Every applicant is subject to approval. So they can control the numbers regardless of if more or less people applied than anticipated. For them to change the notification date by that much, I think there is something more going on.

I think they are trying to see just how many of us will quit so they don’t have to pay out anything. Went from July 15 to July 29 and last day from September 1 to September 4 or possibly even later than that. What the he-l???

July 16 has been confirmed as a notification day. GN&T is expected to see significant reductions, with the WNO Operations Support team anticipated to be among the hardest hit. The anticipated changes follow longstanding project management challenges and leadership issues that have been building over time.

I am based out of St. Paul location in BT business team and was just notified an hour ago. Been with the company for 30 years. They offered 1.5 weeks pay with 26 weeks cap. Any others got notified today?
