How are VRIFs being processed?
Anyone know how the VRIFs are being done? By country//line of business/alphabetically? In Canada and still just waiting after being told it was approved. So frustrating. Why are things moving so slowly.
"Work smarter instead of harder" means nothing here
When I say I'm drowning in work, everyone tells me to work smarter instead of harder, but how can I do that when nobody here actually removes the obstacles that make work harder than it needs to be? Until leadership starts fixing the broken processes, smarter isn't really an option.
ESC town hall
The town hall felt like the usual, with a few stand out moments. Plants legitimately asked how to get a req approved and filled faster and basically got an answer that EVP reviews weekly but other than that, we just don’t know! Also, having EVP say he’s not a process guy is frustrating- isn’t poor and cumbersome processes (tickets and self-serve apps that get you nowhere) a big part of the problem? That is probably the reason so much time is spent on calls and meetings and meaningless metrics. Joking about being EVP for a quarter means he outlasted the last guy was actually funny, but if exec levels turnover that fast, why wouldn’t employees? Don’t they quit bad managers before they quit bad companies? I guess we just need to be on site and that will fix things
What a waste of technology in Melbourne, Fl
They spent 1000's of Dollars installing big screen TV's over all the departments in the Process Center to televise production information, but could never get it to work the way they wanted .... now the TV's are sitting idle and they have spent more money to hang dry erase boards in all departments and gone back to hand writing everything like we're back in the 80's!!
Hiring process
I applied to several jobs. Got an interview that went great. Haven’t heard anything in several weeks. Also haven’t been told no or a rejection email. Just been sitting there.
How long is the process?
The distractions never end
I can't remember the last time I was able to just sit down and do my job without thinking about performance rankings or future opportunities or whatever new process they've invented this month. Leadership seems obsessed with things that don't matter, and the constant distraction means nothing important ever gets done. It's counterproductive and it's ki-ling the little morale we've got left.
The new and not improved D&S model
So we are about one month in and the new and definitely worst D&S model has not been successful. Just meeting after meeting where nobody understand what the he-l is happening. HR will never admit this su-ks but go on about how this is Industry Standard; no no it’s not. It’s absolutely su-ks
Worst team you’ve worked with
For me, it's the procurement team. A $1000 payment can go over 6 months without any update. And they always direct me to another team A, and team a pointed me to team B and C. And finally it’s all of these 3 teams. Then they told me the payment is controlled by SHI. When I called SHI, they told me the vendor should have access to the link they provided.
Vendor provided invoice, then PO went to procurement again, one week before the deadline.
I escalated to VP, then they started to chase me down with PO.
What ridiculous
How do RIFs typically work?
When do you get the meeting invite from your manager? How long does the meeting usually last?
Enterprise Architecture used to be boxes and arrows nobody followed.
Now it’s the same thing… just with “AI” copy-pasted on every slide.
Principal Architects running the show, somehow always in the room, rarely in the outcome.
They don’t build.
They don’t run.
But they definitely “align.”
Every problem gets a framework.
Every framework gets a deck.
Every deck gets approved.
Nothing actually gets better.
“Agentic systems,” “AI platforms,” “north star”, all discussed at length, all safely far from production.
Decisions sound big.
Ownership stays small.
Meanwhile, teams that ship are rewriting the plan in real time just to get something out the door.
At this point, the architecture isn’t enabling delivery, it’s something delivery has to survive.
But sure… one more review, one more workshop, one more “AI strategy” session.
That’ll fix it.
PDS Bullsh-t
I remember when I first joined the company nearly 20 years ago and for many years after my supervisors were very particular about the PDS format as if it made a difference. Be sure to put your biggest impact items first, use bullets, and other such nonsense. As if any of that would make a difference in the assessment meeting. It was all just a decoy to distract from the fact that nothing on the PDS really matters and it isn’t worth spending time and effort on because the whole assessment process is a joke.
What a stupid "Sherlock" and over watch process...
To layoff TAC engineer, Sherlock is created few years ago to take case. Until now more and more cases should be touched by Sherlock first. He even can't handle an RMA case and can't understand customer's problem description.
What a stupid guy, he brings too much troubles for TAC engineer and now there is an "overwatcher" process to help train Sherlock.
TAC help Sherlock to layoff TAC??? What a stupid company!!! Customers are willing to buy stupid Cisco products and services? ridiculous
Too much talking
We spend a lot of time discussing what needs to be done. Then we discuss it again. And again. Meanwhile, the actual work barely moves. When did we turn into a company where every single thing has to be discussed into oblivion before anything can be done?
Refinery Engineers Doing Clerk-Work, Data Entry
If you sent a job to the Total Remuneration department to be graded and the job description included "data entry" the job would most certainly come back with a low non exempt pay grade. But that is what the refineries have engineers doing, data entry. When drawings and equipment databases need to be updated, the process if for the highest paid and highest skilled people to sit at a computer and do tedious data entry instead of handing this off to staff. This is just stupid. And to add insult to injury, there is no org wide initiative to entertain work process improvement opportunities. If we raise this as an opportunity, there is no mechanism to hear it or act upon it. This breeds mediocrity. Let the engineers do engineering work and project management, and hand off the lower level work to cheaper employees. What are we doing here? How about you go back in the wayback machine and read Tom Peters instead of worrying about the cost of coffee and copy paper.
How long can someone be out of compliance?
How many months in a row can someone be out of compliance before an action is taken? What's the sequence of events that follows?
DXC Time booking mess
What a joke, planned a internal system migration for April 1st and time booking codes have still not been issued 2 weeks later. Where has AI gone? Customers are laughing at this Mickey Mouse so called AI company who can't get their own processes to work. On top of this there is no urgency to resolve this P2 issue. Total incompetence of the highest level, someone should be fired for this.
I am asked to post "team-journal" every day..
I am asked to post "team-journal" every day bullsh-t confluence posts on what i do.
Apparently this is the "future" way, not real work, not real tasks.
I got a massive AI slop task which look like epic, then i read it and half is hallucination.... most of all now they asked me to pull some strange repo and talk with devin to post my "diary" to confluence.
When will this medical experiment end?
What a mess
Things are so messed up at Xerox right now that I’m constantly running into situations where no one can give me a clear answer to ANY question. You ask one person and they point you somewhere else, and it just keeps going in circles. I know decisions are being made somewhere, but no one knows where or how. So everything gets brought to a crawl as I have to guess who can give me a straight answer. Like I said, a mess.
Why can't we simplify some of the processes?
Getting anything done across teams requires going through multiple people. Even simple requests turn into long chains of communication, and by the time something actually moves forward, the urgency is usually gone. Collaboration is way more complicated than it should be.
Why is everything so unnecessarily complicated?
The tool sprawl here is ridiculous. There's so much overlap and no clear guidance on what to use when. It makes everything more complicated than it needs to be. I spend way too much time just figuring out where things live.
The system is so weird.
I'm newer to the company and I find the on hand/back stock system completely crazy and not reliable. Then the priorities system is so weird. I think they need to figure out a better way for this.
Optum is such a mess
It's too much expecting things to improve when it's not just one thing, it's everything. Change the leadership, but if we still have the outdated systems, the processes that require I jump through fifteen hoops to get something done, and the nonexistent morale among the employees, thing will hardly improve. This place needs a major overhaul, top to bottom.
any insane corner cutting going on in your store?
Our new store manager has skipped the sale set for the last two weeks. The prices are just totally wrong throughout the whole building, and we are told to do overrides for the customers. Anyone else experiencing anything insane like that?
Pds timing this year?
Anyone know when pds process starts this year? Haven't heard a peep.
What's the Off boarding process - voluntary

Enterprise Operating Model Change
What areas are going to be impacted with this change?
Procedures here are the most cumbersome and ancient
This is my third bank. All are bad, but this one is the worst. I come across stuff that seems like a remnant from the previous century. With all that fancy management and hefty consultant fees, you'd think they would have streamlined some processes by now. AI would short-circuit trying to deal with this place.
Fresh faces, same problems
I watched Fiserv push out a whole group of older folks last year, because they were too costly. They wanted young creative types instead, so they brought in new people. Guess what? The company still runs exactly the same way. Same bad processes, same broken systems, same stupid decisions. They changed the employees but kept everything else. Now we just have less experience and the same mess.
Honest question… How does one resign from this place?
where is the “button”? is there a “goto”? Is there an app?
does one send an email to the supervisor first before using the official avenue to HR?
Rollover out took over a month
From the time TIAA received my paperwork in good order until the time they transferred the money out, it took over 35 days. Like, wtf? Shouldn’t the more than a few days. What goes on?
MI Hide
Why can’t the offshore teams do the MI HIDE calls?
Fiserv CRM - APPSEC Disgusting how its been handled. waste of 8hr every single day.
is there any fued between these two teams?
They always push each others work and delay the work for other teams?
simple changes, Needs CRM teams approval. Work blocked.
Simple approval from CRM, Appsec teams reviewed need more comments from them? Work Blocked.
when will there be a actual work done in this Fiserv?
Legacy Xerox Employees tossed the Global Imaging Playbook in the trash.. so why not Lexmark’s?
Legacy Xerox Employees like to turn you in / setup red tape as much as possible.. almost purposely trying to add on multiple layers so that absolutely nothing gets done…. Things went out the door when the company they purchased to be the true backbone going into the future (Global) started transforming into XBS and the entire Global Business Solutions playbook that worked beyond dreams for soooo long was just thoughtlessly tossed it the trash …
Process for returning equipment?
Has everyone received the recent email from Team Communications outlining the updated process for returning team member equipment? I want to confirm whether it was distributed to all employees.
**Presence Report**
The latest version of the presence report contains a significant error. It assumes that all employees require 5 days of office presence; however, some organizations require only 3 days.
This tool fails to account for this variability and applies the five-day requirement uniformly. As a result, it inaccurately lowers the overall office presence percentage for teams operating under a three-day model. It is time to retire this ineffective tool, as it has repeatedly failed to produce accurate results.
JE Notification Process
I have never been through this before, and am wondering how they notify people of JE. Does an email invite for an HR group meeting go out? Does your direct supervisor tell you? How are you informed of your severance package? My team and I are so worried. I wish we would know what tomorrow and the future holds.
What is the process for 2/19?
What should we expect to see? What time? Who will hear what?
Asking from Home Health - recently acquired from LHC.
ADA accommodation
Has anyone gotten been able to get an ada accommodation with MetLife? How easy was the process?
