Folks, there is no CPM this time for cost cutting

As the title states, will they start rehiring folks affected by the CPM last year? My guess is they'll wait a year so your tenure resets and you come back at a lower cost on their books.

My manager told me not to submit it as we had regular 1:1, should I be worried?

If a person goes on a Professional Improvement Plan (or PIP in the rest of the world) they are eligible for a buyout. However there doesnt seem to be any details on what that includes.
