Again layoffs. Sales people numbers going down. Ireland office kicked out lots of people. Crazy again.
Skyhigh job offer
About to accept a job based in the EU. Got RA-ed in my previous company so a bit hesitant once I saw a few posts on here. What's the general opinion of Skyhigh these days?
Another Trellix RIF
Not sure whether/how SkyHigh was hit, but Trellix was hit yet again. They're literally running out of people to fire. The intent appears a typical equity-milk-maid operation. STG bought them, saddling the company books (not STGs) with the debt to do... — read more
Lipstick on a pig?
So Skyhigh got rid of all initial execs and is posting ‘new’ products across Linkedin. What’s released looks more like rename what you have and sell the same old stuff with a bit of glitter. No real innovation. This usually happens when you try to... — read more
Access finally cut!!
2 years after being made redundant from trellix they've finally cancelled my paid for cell phone number and paid for home broadband. Thanks for the freebies Trellix. Perhaps if you were more efficient you could save money on this stuff and stop... — read more
Again layoffs
It’s really disappointing to see Trellix going down this path with so many employees being laid off. These abrupt decisions from management not only hurt those directly impacted but also damage the morale and trust of the remaining team. It feels... — read more

Skyhigh CEO, CRO gone?
Rumor has it that the exec team @ Skyhigh is gone? The tech was so good when I worked there. What has happened? Did the Skyhigh Network genes finally ki-l good McAfee genes after ex Skyhigh Network people were put in charge? It was obvious at the... — read more
The doomsday bell is sounding again at Trellix
I received my notice amongst several others. Mostly long timers. Looks like Trellix wants to get rid of expertise.
The Skyhigh Security is not good culture
The Skyhigh Security is not good culture! I‘m in India team. Other team often force us to work long and late. When asking free time, USA managers often force late night meeting.
Skyhigh: The downward spiral
Once a company that was visionary, Skyhigh is no longer at the edge of the abyss, it has gone a step further and is in free fall. Time to jump and to secure yourselves. Critical corporate functions are x‘ed. Leaders are leaving or are being made... — read more
Trellix global head of sales - gone.
Don't think I've seen anything announced internally but saw on linked he has a new role
Next round at trellix has begun.
News coming out of the APAC region that long serving trellix employees are being laid off today. Not sure if this is wider than India /apac.
Trellix now
The turnover targets in sales cannot be reached (over 200% compared to the previous year). Management is helpless, there is another wave of layoffs
Toxic environment
Very toxic management environment, long hours, not respecting time zones. It's a shame the bad bosses do not move, lots of politics. Salaries are good. If you have a choice look elsewhere.
New CFO is awful
Get ready Lady Hatchet is coming fer yer job yo
Did I get this right?
Were there layoffs this week?
What the split!
SSE/XDR split. And SSE with Google? WTH is going on!
McAfee and FireEye - Disaster
I will caveat this with the fact it is from the McAfee rumour mill but isn't that where we get our info? However there are cuts coming....again. Do we ever get a break from looking over our shoulders so we can actually work (laser focus.... good one... — read more
Price's Law
The dath spiral of McAfee over the past 10 years makes sense in light of Price's Law. https://dariusforoux.com/prices-law/
what's up with enterprise employees and business?
Are there scissors running?
Will the new CNAPP product help McAfee acquire business ?
McAfee has been eyeing the cloud business for quite some time now. Do you think that the new CNAPP line of products will help gain McAfee any traction in the cloud security space ? Also I think it is being developed entirely by an Indian team.
McAfee Enterprise Equity?
For McAfee Enterprise employees will pre-ipo equity be distributed? Does STG have any track record of doing this with the 20+ other companies they have acquired? Would this not occur until after fire eye is acquired and merged?
its not the old McAfee which used to care for its employees!
From 2005-2010 it was the best company with lot of perks, nice leadership, supporting and technically strong managers. but after Intel acquisition, it has went downhill. in older days i.e before 2010 or Intel acquisition, it was run by technical... — read more

Equity rumor copy pasted from blind app
There's rumor that stg's solution to unvested equity loss is to pay off execs all equity and have them quell rebellion. So if that's true, while most people are losing anywhere between 55 and 70 percent unvested equity, the tu@d at the top aren't... — read more

Is now the time to leave?
Don't know if I should see how this plays out or make the jump. I have only been here for a little over a year, but I'm wondering if I should get out now. It feels like McAfee would make that decision for me after the acquisition is complete.
Good/bad move?
Unfortunately, it will certainly bring layoffs, but I am interested in what you think about the sale of enterprise business to Symphony? Is it a good move for McAfee or yet another debacle? I wonder what the results of this move will be, apart from... — read more
