So they are just assuming everyone will take the job at the indirects ? Regardless if anyone does Verizon still needs to own up to the thousands not 500. BTW how many fraud transactions are going to get pushed through if the rep is leaving ? I can’t believe how Verizon handles layoffs when so many will be there for another month. What a shrinkage nightmare !

If you have been with Verizon for s long time like more than 15 years, they are asking you to go to indirect and take like a $10 .00/ paycut but want you to work ghe same hours, sh---y benefits, no 401 k, & less commission? Um let me think here, NO THANKS! I will find something else!
It is laughable one would worry about last minute fraud. The retail operation has always operated by fraudsters. Hopefully they rid this place of the rest of them over the next several rounds.
Some media outlets reported things differently as usual. Trust me Verizon wanted it out they laid off 3K so the stock would go up like it always after such news. There have been dozens of stores closed the past two days due to inadequate staffing. I guess the news hit hard and many took sick days lol.

Online it says 500 corporate jobs and 2500 retail jobs with the 274 stores. So 500 is the number of corporate office jobs that were cut not total.
What I saw 275 stores and over 3000 people not sure where you heard 500
yeah must me they are assuming accepting the indirect job and other roles because that math aint mathing
