XTO was a family and everyone at XOM is out for themselves. XTO wanted you to be a great at your job so they could be successful as a company and XOM wants to put handcuffs on anyone willing to actually work.
The XTO bronzes were special. People liked working for XTO
To all people that do not know about the bronze sculpture. EM stopped giving the sculpture, because it was to expensive. XTO people received different prizes after certain years working with the company, then EM appeared with new “rules”.
I will sell you mine.
@gp how does that XTO pride work out for you? Can you trade your bronze piece for a donut?
@g6 you must be not be someone that worked for XTO. Almost everyone at XTO took pride in working for them and looked forward to getting their bronze’s every 5 years. It’s understandable to not have any pride in working for XOM though.
Why would anyone crave for a useless trophy? Give me cash or gift cards anyday.
Service award trophies are trash either way.
The current bronze sculptures are small and cheap compared to the ones XTO offered. And we didn’t have to buy them with points. They were given.
Bronze sculptures are still available. OP is a troll
Those sculptures were an XTO thing. ExxonMobil had different awards.
