With the new office in Plano and the enforcement of RTO without exceptions , it seems to me the next brick to topple is closing NJ Hub as this is an expensive legacy l hub, those in the know what's the word on the street

Seeing how illogical the decision makers are in this company; it is very possible they would close NJ which houses the brains of this so called corporation (at least what few are left).
Paramus will go first, only about ~500 headcount there. Those people will be crammed into Bedminster. When ‘new’ Bedminster opened, the building population was around 2200, it’s down to 1700 now; there’s room.
In 2-3 years as Plano HQ gets closer to completion, and the Middletown restack is finished. Groups will be moved from Bedminster and Middletown to Plano. What’s left of NJ will be crammed into Middletown.
There are 3 offices in NJ. Paramus, Bedminster, and Middletown and they’re all full.
Anyone in NJ will see the consolidations coming a mile away when one of 3 close.
Next they will close another and there will be Middletown.
Long time before NJ goes anywhere and we’ll see it coming a mile away like thanks to our strong labor lawns like NJ Warn.
We already receive 3 extra months after being notified vs everyone else that gets 2 weeks.

An awful lot of people left Middletown (more actually left the company, but some did relocate to ATL or Dallas) since from the beginning of RTO J Press declared CTX would not use the Nj hubs even though they are in use by Legg.
When CDO and CSO leave, Satterlee will struggle to keep the bldg full. ‘Cause he isn’t going anywhere
I love how people think TDP is the barometer for what the company is going to be doing in the future. I assure you it is not. It represents less than half of one percent of the total workforce domestically. That being said, the program director is located in Middletown. That presence in NJ will not impact the decision to keep or close NJ in any way. If I were betting, I would assume NJ will be closed in the next 3-5 years with mandatory moves to the new Plano location for everyone in non-network, non-retail, and non-ELA roles.

Problem is that the TDPs and many of the young hires hate working in the environment Stank has created and they are moving to other, more flexible companies. Almost 100% of the 2025 TDPs left within the first 12 months.
@e5 , don’t give “Abominable Insidiousness” any more (manufactured) hype than it already gets.
CSO hired TDPs and lots of college grads to replace the L3s and L2s they lost. Gave them AI, do micro managing and get work done. What was a team of 5 grew to 40+ in a matter of 1 year. New grads are the holy grail while experienced folks are laid off, thanks to AI.
If you move CSO to Dallas, NJ can close tomorrow. Rich Baich needs to take that decision. Any location that has VPs is not closing anytime soon. Middletown will prevail until Claude Mythos is out in the public.

When Plano opens many will be asked to move. Remaining NJ workers will be switched to remote and probably capped at their current role and level for the most part.
I'll give NJ hub 3-5 years, the market dynamics, expensive Northeast real estate and legacy workforce in NJ means it makes a lot more sense to cut once. Plano mega office comes online.. Likely a satellite sales office may remain behind, but not a major hub location.
NJ was a TDP hotbed for a while, but many have left over the years due to the lacking competitive pay for certain roles. Since then they’ve shut down the TDP program in NJ which should tell you everything you need to know. First step will be cramming everyone in Middletown, second step is a move to Plano. It’s really only a matter of time and role.

Baich's motivational style is to tell people that they can be replaced. They got a real class act when they hired him.
When the marshmallow palace is built, I predict that ALL nonunion management positions that do not specifically require field presence (ie traveling to sites, stores, or vendors locally) will be reclassed to Plano and a final HWWW layoff (move or leave) will ensue. The madness for headcount reduction, ageism, absolute centralization, and in-office presence from this leadership team is off the charts. And no, they don’t give the slightest f about people or downstream chaos.
Much of CSO is in Middletown and Bedminster. Considering that Baich only likes AIG and Wells Fargo people that he invented Charlotte JUST for them. AND CSO hiring even for replacements in NJ are in Charlotte (and India).
So it could be an organization to organization shut down in NJ. And that will also open up even more space for an initial consolidation.
Depends on Middletown vs Bedminster. Middletown is an owned building. Bedminster isn't. They've been reconstructing Middletown to cram 5 buildings worth of people in the Middletown campus (other 4 were leased) into the owned one. Essentially everyone is now in that space and yet they are still doing work to destroy more offices into even open space. Read into that.
Given they don't care about people's commute with plano, am sure they also don't care telling other locations in nj to buckle up and drive or leave.
