@yp Jamie Miller is a curse to PayPal and I have no idea how she keeps her job.

@yk it's already priced as if it's going to be a disaster all year. I think they're actually going to beat again, the market will love it, Jamie Miller will open her pie hole and be unable to say one positive thing about her own company. And then it will drop into the high 40s. I can't believe the board is so tone deaf that they haven't realized that the entire Market hates her.

Looks like Stripe is walking. Shares can now go back into the low $40’s after Jamie Miller delivers another disaster earnings.

Wall Street is going to hammer this stock after next week’s earnings. Enrique and Jamie are way out of their league and shouldn’t even manage a Wendy’s.

The CEO’s we hire just get worse and worse. I would take DEI Dan at this point.

My god you could have the worst management team on Wall Street. No exaggeration.

@rx agreed. Now it’s time to watch the share price slow bleed back to $40’s range. Yay for us!!

Its my understanding that PayPal has no obligation to respond to unsolicited offers. It's disapppointing that we haven't heard anything from Enrique however, anything he says regarding this issue could impact the share price so I can understand this as a reason for the silence. Pretty confident this offer won't be accepted. As mentioned previously, in the unlikely event the board was to accept this terrible offer, it still needs to go to the shareholders for a vote who are even less likely to accept. Pretty sure you can all chill on this one for now.

@qg I don't think you understand how the share price works.

Enrique will F this deal up for sure. Just because he’s incompetent not because he wants the deal to fail. Price is already goin back to $40’s.

Agreed Jamie might be the worst CFO in the Fortune 500. Also, I wonder how many shares and options Stripe has been buying at $55? Why pay $60 when you have a mo--n for a CEO who keeps the share price at such a nice discount after they’re rumors about passing on the deal. This guy came in like 4 months ago and hasn’t done anything right. Looks like he is about to roll over with the Board and sell us all out. My shares over the last 8 years are worth way way less.

@nv I read somewhere that there might be a blackout prior earnings where they must remain silent. However, I'm not 100% sure if it's applicable here as it was an unsolicited offer. He'll obviously have to address the elephant in the room next week. Although this board is probably the worst in America, so somehow they'll fu-k this up. Like the insufferable Jamie Miller.

I wish Enrique would communicate something about the Stripe offer. Sound like we rejected but would be nice to know something.

Jamie Miller probably thinks Stripe is over paying. I’m waiting for her to sc--w things up as usual. She will come out and say PayPal is valued too high.

@hg I know they rejected the initial lowball offer, but are they still even at the table? I got a feeling they're going to end up selling for like 70 to $75, max.

And not surprisingly they’re working the deal with Stripe. Pure criminal activity. Also, why hasn’t our CEO shot down this horrible offer? The Board is meeting today?

This deal looks more and more like a crime scene each passing minute. It’s so low it’s an insult.
