Here’s a comprehensive list from Cisco of their acquisitions over the years. Look over the list and comment on which ones were flops.

Terrible user experience with 50 redirects to get to a website. And then 30 mins later, it times out your session and loses context of which website you were on—so you end up with 10 browser tabs from Duo and no idea what they are for.
Precisely- biggest türd 💩 at Cisco, by far.
I don’t get the Splunk hate, it’s one of the few that makes sense. The problem is how poorly Cisco managed/continues to manage the integration. Cisco has a slew of acquisitions that we never hear about. Just flushing cash down the toilet. Espagon for $500M? Where the he-l did that go?

It would be much easier to list those that did work out!
@a1 ha I think we have all thought the same thing when auth'ing in to any Cisco website - "why is this thing redirecting so many times??"
The only way to make Splunk "pencil out" is to use the same "math" the government uses to explain how the debt will be paid off within a decade
Can confirm they ruined Duo. Stay away from that place.
@cm WASn't? Meraki effectively doesn't even exist anymore.
@bf Isnt Meraki one of the strongest performing BUs?
Every. Single. One.
All the irrelevant loser AI companies we picked up like Foundation AI
if we expand to 15 years then meraki
Splunk
Duo + Oort would be top examples in security.
Terrible user experience with 50 redirects to get to a website. Okta and Entra don’t have these issues.
