I'm so drained from working here that it's started affecting my health. For the first time in my life, I'm on blood pressure medication. I've been trying to find a new job, but nothing seems to be working out.

Go to your doctor and request FMLA based on your medical conditions. Then apply for short term disability. You get up to 12 weeks protection under FMLA.
@bp Unfortunately it isn't that simple, though it should be. The company will do everything they can to help the insurance company deny coverage so you have to take the leave without pay. Still worth trying, but with realistic expectations that you might be without a paycheck while on leave.
@OP I totally get it. I feel somewhat the same. No known health issues but the “me” time is long gone. Don’t exercise like I want to, feel lethargic and constantly stressed - it su-ks
Go to your doctor, get a work release due to stress causing high blood pressure, heart palpitations, no sleep, etc., and file short term disability.
Same boat. But I manage the stress by telling myself it is just another job and I can find another one if this gets unrealistic.
Truth be told it isn't even a big name in banking like Chase or Bank of America and runs mostly on the namesake. If you ever look at the revenue and asset numbers for the Top 4 (Chase, BA, WF and Citi) banks and compare it to the 5th bank (USB) it becomes clear that we are a far and distant #5. PNC and other such banks are one merger away from kicking USB from the top 5 spot.
Most importantly when was the last time you checked a leader board to see who is placed 5th? After the top 3 no one bothers if one is 5th or 15th and that gives us several employers to go shop around for a job. Never forget that.
