Lousy raises and no recognition for anyone, even the top performers. There's literally no reason to put in extra effort anymore.

Welcome to the real corporate world. Always trying to find an excuse not to work? Unbelievable. Be thankful you have a job and if you do not like it quit since you are not working anyway and find a new job that fits your ideological perspective.
