I'm not an "Alumni".

You FIRED me after 2 decades of stellar reviews & documented accomplishments.
*"WFR" is a nice way of saying "we can replace you for pennies on the dollar by offshoring your role". ONLY the execs are allowed to maintain a good quality of life. Back to the streets with you Peon!
I was "told" I was safe...lying corksoakers.
Corporations are fully vested in the two layers of societal ranks. Either you are rich or you are poor & on government assistance. Dell USED to seem like they cared for "their" workforce. Nothing could be further from the truth today.

We are NOT Alumni. If you are kicked out of College, you dont get to claim to be an "Alumni".

@OP The word is (for a man) an alumnus and for a woman an alumna. Plurals respectively are alumni or alumnae.

That being said, - there is an exception to your alumni rule with colleges. At Harvard - If you get kicked or leave after your second year you will be considered a member of the alumni if you become very rich from family wealth or from the company you started when they gave you the boot. That way they can solicit donations guilt free.

I was laid off 4 times, from the late 80’s thru the early 00’s, before I started working at EMC/Dell. I retired, ended active employment, with multiple millions of dollars in assets and I am set for life. Stop your b1tching and get back to work.

Tell me you have NOT worked in technology for the past 2 decades without telling me.

Perhaps failed employee would be more accurate
