Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

Dont worry, if you become homeless just go to Modesto

Weird for HealthNet to donate 4 million to a random housing complex in California when we are laying off people. You're actively making more potential homeless people.

Fingers crossed for everyone.

If you end up homeless after departing from Centene that’s probably your fault. Over spending your 401k loans and not sharpening your skills and resume language to set yourself up for success in the future is a failure on your own behalf.

I understand this situation is frustrating, but let's try to keep this space productive. We can't change what's already happened, but we can try to be helpful about what comes next.

@ak I’m entitled to my opinion regardless of what this site is intended for. If you don’t like it, feel free to scroll past—it’s free. It’s unfortunate you’re so triggered by my statement. There is nothing on this site that says only grievances are allowed! At the end of the day, they are still doing business as usual, so you’ll just have to get over it & make sure you have an exit plan in place.

@a3 Nah, this is a website where we air our grievances and if you dont see an issue with spending 4 million while we are pretending to be so so broke, then you're the problem also.

Just because a company is doing layoffs doesn't mean it completely stops functioning. I thought this was a mature website, but y'all are really overreacting.

It's PR/advertising.
