You could tell that tech in CA was doomed. SVB, BE and TK are not from CA.

CA is a disaster. Many companies have left, and more to come, with their tax structure!
The middle class is non-existent in that state.
Which LOB was impacted in tech? I had a few friends that work for Auto that were still hanging on, but one of them was already cut last month.

Most people in CA want a package. COLA is sky high and the pay here is way below inflation, moving can get most in CA 25-50% more with the right background.
thanks for the update. it's been years that they've been moving jobs out of SF corporate headquarters to other other states. also consolidating and closing stores. let them have it. your peace of mind is the most important thing.
