Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

SETH

Are we submitting questions or assuming that even with the format pivot we aren’t going to get real, honest answers to questions.

Personally, I hope people submit their toughest questions and demand accountability from MKW. It’s been a sh*t couple of years and that’s largely on him and the rest of leadership.

Morale doesn’t matter. Shareholder value does.
However, as morale is a leading indicator of things staying on track or going sideways… you’re not wrong…

He should get up there and tell us what he's going to do to raise the terrible morale of this company. Its the worst ive ever seen it.

100% agree. People stopped going to IT townhalls. It started with 1500 auditorium, and hardly anyone showed up, so they started roping off the back so people will sit towards the stage more.

Then they’ve given up completely and now just do virtual. Used to be livestream to be able to handle the thousands of people in the function, but now they just do a regular teams call because not enough people show up.

If people stop going to these worthless events in large, the message will be loud and clear. I stopped going many years ago, but look still people think there is value attending these evens quarter after quarter. And then you wonder why the company is dead last, well the people who work are dead last to use their common sense after few of these events to come to basic conclusion.
