What do the Attrition metrics for IT look like? I know its by design to get rid of Americans, but it seems much worse than anything ive seen.

@hj Because it’s typical of how inefficient this company is at everything it does, you stupid muppet.
@h6 Why don’t you mind your own business? Different teams were given different timelines, with some having until Dec 31 of 2027, so bu---r off with your nosiness.
Why are they still dragging out the SR re-location? Wasn't that supposed to be done a year ago?
@dt is your guess an EOI option after the the SR move deadline?
the SR move or terminate is coming around. Lots of SR resignations pushing the numbers up BUT still not where they need to be to meet metrics.
@ar uh that is without context and wrong information.
First, the deal is much bigger than that.
Second, their “FDEs” are just their internal credits to give chevron because the size of the deal is so big to lock in rates for a decade. The number of Microsoft helpers are insignificant compared to the size of the portfolio.
@ac no, they’re already gone, voluntarily. There’s no one left from the original MLE subchapter. And LC won’t do anything about it because that was his plan all along.
They showed the numbers in slides. Do some quick adding and you’ll figure out there’s no career for you if you’re onshore. Figure out a plan to get out and move on. Not to mention the trend to move pmp managers to offshore. You won’t have any pull. Just mane only.
Well we recently signed a $50MM+ deal with Microsoft to bring in their FDEs because we don’t have enough expertise left internally, if that tells you anything.
@a4 so they plan to get rid of 92% of ML?
Imagine for a second the company wanted to really--without exaggeration--eliminate 50% of US based IT. Do you think that's going to happen anytime soon? We are a ship the size of the Titanic: you spin the steering wheel as fast as humanly possible and it still takes forever to turn the ship a single inch. If you're young, gtfo as soon as you can and find somewhere with long term viability because you for sure have no future. If you're medium to late career, just do your job and play nice. You can survive it. You can put up with the bs and weather the storm.
Not sure about other roles, but ML engineering is 92%
