How do they get away with this again and again? Too many people over 40 were cut once again and very few under that age. How's that okay? Not only that, how's that even legal?

With every RIF they have to publish and provide the demographics about the whole group impacted (across departments).
It is the whole of the RIF that matters from a discrimination perspective not just one department or just the people you know who were impacted.
Odd as the people I know that have been let go are in their late 20s/early 30s.
