Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Dark humor central

To keep our mental health intact, our team meetings have turned into stand-up comedy about how broken everything is. The only time people perk up is to trash leadership or joke about organizing. Morale is so low that laughing at the chaos is the only thing keeping us sane.

Yup. This works until you get a boot li---r who joins the team. Then you’re all terminated. Been there done that and got terminated. Keep your job search active.

I’m glad you have management and coworkers where that feels safe. So unfortunately your post is actually positive about your att experience

I used to have a team like that. But the entire management chain was replaced. And I feel like I’d get labeled as a malcontent if I was honest about this place.

Every day su-ks. There is no direction. They laid off the experienced workers and are filling roles with inexperienced employees with no support. Every customer- facing meeting looks like the p00 show it is. No one knows how to get anything done. Bad leadership, non-existent mentoring or guidance. Everyone is stretched thin and burned out.
