Says store is closing due to the neighborhood being dangerous and high theft. Store opened a year ago

It must have been performing impossibly poorly to close after a year. The investment to build and open a store like that is probably upwards of $55 million dollars. Someone somewhere is going to get thrown under the bus for that. My store is similar as far as crime and low sales go. Bottom 3-5 in the region. High theft. Locks on bathroom doors, lots of crime etc. San Fran couldn't be much worse and our store is a piece of cr-p and not profitable.

I hope TM on this forum don't actually think that WF is closing the store citing TM safety. If this were a Diamond store there is know way it would be closing.
