I was promoted to B4 and will be earning around $150k this year. Based on my research I likely should have negotiated a higher pay bump.
Would you mind sharing what you're making as a B4 (base salary)? And what's the deal with bonuses and stock options - are they any better at this level?
Ugh. Under $100k as a band 4 in a shared services role (by shared services, think HR, marketing, finance, and other functions that support many of the revenue-generating LOBs).
The salary ranges by Band vary by role, so comparing is not helpful -- unless you are in the same roles, or at least the same hierarchy.
You'd need to specify at least which LOB, front/middle or back office, client-facing (or not), plus revenue generating or support/staff.
And geography makes a difference, too. Even within the same state or country, if outside US.
250k plus 40k bonus.
Bonus and stock not much more as a B4. Never rely on them though as the last few years we have seen substantial cuts and low bases
What BONUSES? You’re complaining about you’re salary when some of us do not receive bonuses as part of our annual salary increase anymore and make less than half your salary and have been at this company for 20 plus years. Congratulations! You should be grateful! I should be crying lol.
Global markets front office - not revenue generating role. NYC. 225k base. bonus is a random flex.
Which LOB? In our LOB, at B4, you're at the cap.
I am in tech, but not in NYC or CA. Is there a separate bonus pool for those in b4?
Generally band4 in NYC or CA is around 200k base with bonus being anywhere from 25-100k (it's a cr-p shoot)
Other locations like FL, TX GA etc base seems to be in the 160-175 range for band4 with bonus anywhere in the dartboard of 20-50k.
This is for tech and ops across gbam and commercial. Some roles in commercial or gwim though not as high as gbam
Not sure what area you're in, but you may be at the cap now meaning don't expect a raise for awhile.
