Frustrated Employee

Frustration here. Microwave is broken, new one is on back order. Ice machine broken, who knows when that is going to get fixed. Carpet needs to get vacuumed and cleaned, been several years since it has been done. The afternoon the WHOLE SYSTEM is screwed up. Can't get into anything. Business partners can't do their job, can't escalate to their managers cause they are just as bad. Many of the Business Partners don't have a learning coach to help them. These are the same individuals that get promoted.

  • Have you taken any steps to change what you deem as broken?

I have been WFH for over 3 years now and no end date in sight. When I worked in the office I would bring my own ice from home. The Ice machines in the break room were never cleaned. Gross sl--e and mold. Use at your own risk!

Facilities are a joke in jax. Toilets broken and overflowing every week or so. A person on the floor asked me to open a facilities request for the urinal saying they did not know how. I filled out the request and received a call back saying I had to stay and wait for someone to show up. I was like 'that ain't happening as I am a bank employee and it was the end of my work day. I am not responsible for the building facilities. They even had to come a different day to clean mold growing for 2-3 year from a woman watering plastic plants from pre COVID times. One guy said he saw mold and the guy with him was like 'DON'T SAY MOLD' because then someone might actually need to clean the place to make sure we are all safe instead of being treated like lab rats.

I’m positive I got sick from the grime (or mold) on one of the water dispensers in the break room in Jacksonville. It’s so disgusting to see what the water is coming out of… but the alternative is to drink out of the disgusting tin cans. They put in the break room and took all the bottle waters out of the vending machines.

Part of the problem is that most people will reach out to someone else (who is also doing the job of 18 people) when all the info is on Flagscape and literally every single employee has access to open a facilities request but they’re usually too lazy to do it themselves when they notice a problem… so they ping 4 other people until one of those suckers just does it because it’s easier than explaining how do use the search bar on the company website for anything that you need… such as a simple Facilities ticket.

Furthermore, I don’t know who needs to hear this but if you need access to the building, you have the ability to request it yourself you don’t have to reach out to a specific ACR anywhere just put your name in the system and click with you one access to, and someone in that area will review/approve it.

The renovation to open seating was definitely not an upgrade. Just an opportunity to shove more sardines into the can.

Why the heck do we have dishwashers in some of the breakrooms? It’s not like we are cooking full meals up there.

Speaking of back in the office - If there is enough seating for all in these open seating buildings, why not just assign seats? Tired of cleaning the trash/sc-m of others before I can work..

But yet spend $$$ to upgrade and remodel campuses. That was a waste of money.
And still can’t get the buildings cleaned. Toilets that don’t work. Broken elevators.
Some parts of the building where the H1B are working got a huge remodel upgrade.
Then the rest of us got “design on a dime” in other buildings.
You can tell they ran out of money and just threw stuff together fast. Because we got to get everyone back in the office.

At least you're not being asked to take your own trash to the dump.

This company is severely broken in the management process. It seems to me no one knows their job and you have a bunch of empty suit mofos running this shlit show.
