I laughed when my manager told me recently I should show some loyalty to the company and help finish a project over the weekend "because it has to be done." No, buddy. When you started treating us like cr-p, you lost our loyalty. Now, I work to earn some cash. Don't expect me to be loyal just because I work for you. If you're looking for someone who will always stick by your side, then maybe you should consider getting a furry friend instead. Dogs are known for their unwavering loyalty, after all. But as for me, I'm just here to do my job and get paid.

After they shafted me on my last two reviews despite having M/M I’ve done less and less. This way my “hourly” rate equals the work output I perform. F them for any extra work when they treat us like chit.
Want work done on MY day off? Don't care if salaried employee, figure out a way to PAY me or comp me 2 hours time off during the week for every hour on spent working on the weekend or the answer is a hard NO. This is not a charity and certainly I'm not donating MY free time to a company that just made 8 billion dollars profit in the last 3 months.
Remember, nobody on their deathbed ever reflects on their life and says "I really wish I would have given up my time off and worked more so my boss's boss's boss can get a bigger bonus"

He is not hourly, that's why the manager had to guilt him into complying.
Working for free under any condition shows loyalty to the master!
Also, please don't insult dogs. They will bite, be labelled dangerous dogs, even be put down than to live a slaved, meaningless and abusive life. Dogs have more dignity!
Are you hourly? Remind them that by law you are supposed to be paid for time worked. That is their rules. They have us take the timekeeping class to remind us. Like I need to be reminded I should be paid for my work.
