Difficult to understand this poster’s confusion. Yes, Blackrock is a massive money manager as is Warren Buffet (Berkshire Hathaway). But people misunderstand that the funds which they manage are not their funds. Buffet is on record over 6 decades explaining that all that he ever really was good at was allocating capital to the best ideas and the highest return and that he was fortunate to have been blessed withthat talent.
Did Buffet and Blackrock owners personally become wealthy? Yes. Do they control ESG, DEI, W.E.F. and other banks? No. They manage assets for other people, all of whom vote at minimum vote annually with their proxies. And no, their proxies don’t apply to the W.E.F., Davos, E.S.G. or other any other external entities.
The rest of this thread is complete gobblygook.
I cannot believe that our employees can work at a custody bank awhile knowing nothing about our industry. We clearly have issues in hiring competent people.
