Badge report

Anyone have insight to the badge report. I was told it started to monitor that you have swiped in at all and if you haven't you would have a certain time frame or would go on notice. Are they checking weekly swipe counts yet? Asking for the 3/2 folks. Thanks

Manager communicated today they are serious about associates following their flex WFH schedule. If you show up on the reports, you get a call from the B2/B3 exec.

They are counting badge counts/swipes and using a script to link badge counts to employees and teams. Example: your team is 4:1 but they identify a pattern of your team being 3:2, your manager and a member of the SLT are being questioned.
It’s happening. Not fake news.
They are okay with hybrid as “hybrid work is here to stay… abuse and misconduct are not…”

Today we were told it was go time. Badge reports will be reviewed, all swipes into and within the building will be assessed, and anyone looking questionable will be compared to Workday, etc. to see if these were excused absences or not. There will be phone calls to the scofflaws, they will be put on notice with management, and they may ultimately be sending out resumes.

@9rpg+1n6TlwcA - maybe I will go in, hold a heating pad to my face, look at my screen, then leave and tell them I had to go b/c I had a temperature.

Like the cameras they used for SAR in the Hong Kong airport.

For what it's worth, I worked onsite throughout the entire pandemic WFM policy. One of the things they uninstalled and never mentioned to everyone that came back when it was all said and done was-dun dun dun-the thermal imaging camera at the entrance. This was accompanied by a laptop station manned by a third party vendor, where you could see the thermal facial recognition captures captured in multiple frames as you walked past. Expect middle management and above to have worse to come for you.

Was on a call with senior executive today. Told that we are an "in office" company and need to adhere to the flex arrangements. Badge reports will be pulled to track employees.

They have called people who have not come in at all since the email came out about expectations. I think they will start monitoring more than just a single swipe.

The people contacted for no swipes do have a chance to correct it but that means more monitoring for them.

I don’t know how they can really track 3 days with vacation, work travel, etc.

If that’s the case about AI and tracking via camera, they will see I go to the bathroom 6-13 times a day, my motto is…Boss makes a dollar, I make a dime. That’s why I p-o on company time.

Can’t wait to share this with HR if they call me.

They are looking at average frequency. Calls will come soon. There is no AI or face recognition going on. That's a nonsense reply.

I hadn’t been at the office for over 3 weeks and didn’t get any call from my manager.

They no longer looking into badge swipe records, instead cameras all over the place and using AI and face recognition technology to track employees.
