Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Badge swipe reports

Report will come out soon. You need to be in office 3 days per week 4 out of 6 weeks. Anyone on list will get called by their band 2 and need an explanation.
It’s unclear on how the 6 weeks is determined though. Not sure if it’s rolling or some other time frame. If anyone knows it would be helpful as to stay off list need to think about work travel, vacation, holidays fall to make sure that’s only 2 of your 6 weeks.

I don't see how there can be any consequences without a formal HR written policy. Nothing in the handbook or on HR connect that explains how days are tracked and what is required. It's all word of mouth.

I want to see a policy in writing from HR on HR connect, employee handbook, etc. So many different things being tossed around, the company needs to get their stuff together and publish a formal policy that outlines in detail how ioffice days are tracked and exactly what is required. Address exactly how planned/unplanned time off plays into the calculation.

As if Band 2 leaders have time to call all those people?!? They realize literally nobody goes in 3 days a week, right?! I mean, you can’t tell me those offices aren’t completely empty every time I go in! Scare tactic. As long as some people in the company get unlimited vacation time.. while those of us who make far less money and are struggling with insane inflation everywhere (including the child care! And on top of that, they’ve not been approving submissions for childcare plus this summer!).. they can kiss my WFH a$$.

We were told the same thing. But what is the 4 out of 6, does the counting start the first week of the quarter? I heard July 24 is the first report date, is it the 6 weeks prior to that?

We were told the exact same thing; in office 3 days a week for 4 out of the 6. The other 2 weeks are kind of an exception period, for example if you wfh Mon Tues, go into the office Wed Thurs, but don’t feel well on Fri but don’t take a sick day and still log on from home. We are still expected 3 days a week regardless, but they know things come up (ex: unexpected appt, sick kid, etc). We were told to just keep open line of communication with our manager so they are already aware and ready to explain should they be questioned about our attendance.

I do think it’s d-mb that holiday and vacation time count as wfh days. At least that’s what we were told.

Unfortunately, the bank has never demonstrated itself to be very good at doing this. Three days for four per six weeks is too complicated for whomever normally does this. They had problems with this before.

I did hear the same band 2 rumor though. I look forward to the call. "Um you realize I was out for a few weeks?" It's going to happen.
