Rumors about more layoffs

I've heard there might be more layoffs before the end of July. Is this real?

California is the next place for big layoffs. Mostly WFH people there and big sites have closed.

Rumor is that they are targeting the UK for the next round of layoffs.

Who cares. Too many WFH positions out there.. give out those pretty packages and send us on our way as you sit stuck with low performers.

Instructions have been given to so called middle managers to do whatever and force employees to quit without any severance pay, worst case they fire you without any valid explanation.

They are actively trying to get you to quit. That's the plan.

Could only hope for those of us that would appreciate a severance. Alas. I fear it is most likely rumor or the affected population would be so small it wouldn’t raise to many eyebrows.

Hopefully this is true. Many folks would welcome a package.

With that 250 million dollar fine against BOA, I would anticipate layoffs. This company has been hit with fines for the last 20 years. To add, this bank has paid fines for discrimination against minorities, mortgage discrimination, gender discrimination and now overdraft fees . When will it end? CEO BM continue the good work....
